Sometimes it’s not that words don’t want to come out. They pile up in our thoughts, all of them are written in our brain. But they stay unsaid. They rumble and rumble inside, without the strength to fly away.
It might be fear, it might be shame. It might be that strange feeling of underestimating the force and courage of those that care for us. We never know what others think of us until they show us - through words, actions, gestures.
But we have to be open minded in order to accept each word, each gesture, and each action. And learn.

Yesterday I read this plotted in a T-shirt:

“The mind is like a parachute – It has to be open in order to work!”

My first reaction was a smile. The comparison is bold. I kept my smile, but my thoughts wondered. The statement is completely true. I consider myself to be an open-minded guy. I believe in change. I believe that people might change. Many people call me an optimistic.
The real question is: am I optimistic or are all other people pessimistic?

The answer remains to be revealed.
